Richard Blackett and Kevin Walker for two decades the driving force behind the growth and success of RMT Financial Management Ltd completed a management buy-out earlier this year in order to launch a new brand for their financial management business.

Blackett Walker Ltd is an Independent Financial Adviser and Employee Benefits Consultant company. Independently owned and with no ties to any investment or insurance provider, we are completely impartial and are committed to providing the best financial planning advice to individuals, companies, and pension scheme trustees.  We have three main departments of experts offering Private Client Services to individuals, Corporate Services to employers and pension scheme trustees, and Retirement Services aimed specifically at individuals approaching retirement.

Our approach to investment: Our first priority is to establish your financial circumstances and preferences. Determining your attitude to risk and what you want your money to achieve will help shape your portfolio. Conversely, if you wish to be able to retire from your business by a certain age, planning is important.

We see asset allocation as key to sound long-term investment performance, so we undertake regular reviews of our clients' investments through our Portfolio Management Service and ensure you have regular reports and valuations to keep you informed.

We manage portfolios on a non-discretionary basis, meaning we only make changes agreed with you so you're always in control. Long-term investment should not be based around very quick decisions that need to take advantage of market timing, a successful asset-allocation strategy is much more important.
